INVITATION TO BID – SEALED BID SALE
Channahon School District 17 is accepting sealed bids for the sale of District property. Sealed bids will
be received at the District Office until Wednesday April 22, 2026 at 1:00pm, at which time bids will be publicly opened.
Interested parties may obtain the Invitation to Bid documents online at https://bit.ly/csd17trucksale
All bids must be submitted in accordance with the requirements outlined in the Invitation to Bid. Channahon School District 17 reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding process.

Public Service Announcement from Channahon School District 17:
Several severe weather outbreaks are expected in our area later today including severe thunderstorms and a risk of tornadoes near and south of I-80. Reports indicate that the severity of storms will begin to increase after 4:00pm. As a result, all after school clubs and athletics are canceled/postponed.
Please also be aware that buses may be running a few minutes ahead of schedule today to allow our drivers to return to base by 4:00pm. Please be on the lookout for your child(ren) approximately 5 minutes ahead of the regular expected time.

Congrats to the 7th Grade Girls' Volleyball team and their coaches on their impressive Regional Championship, beating a talented and undefeated Richland team! They play Saratoga at 6pm on Monday for the Sectional Championship!
Congratulations to Coach Char Roberts and her 8th Grade Volleyball Team on a resounding victory over Kelvin Grove! We celebrated our talented 8th grade girls, as well as Coach Roberts on her long and successful coaching career!

Due to extreme cold with expected windchills falling to -30 degrees, Channahon School District 17 will have an e-learning day on Friday, January 23.
