The Channahon PTO Fund Fest is an essential fundraiser that will help us to continue to have FREE, fun, family events, field day shirts, art frames, teacher reimbursement, and so much more for the next two years. We rely solely on donations and still have quite a way to go to reach our goal. We appreciate every donation, no matter the size.

Due to an electrical brownout that resulted in a power outage at N.B. Galloway Elementary School, school is canceled today, Tuesday, September 15, for all Galloway students. All other Channahon 17 schools will remain in session as scheduled.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and are working with ComEd to determine the cause of the outage and address the issue.
Please note that Pioneer Path students enrolled in “Before the Bell” childcare services should be dropped off at Pioneer Path School this morning:

Today is Patriot Day. We remember and honor the victims and heroes of September 11, 2001.
The first Tower was struck at 8:46 a.m. EDT. In memory, Channahon 17 will hold a collective moment of silence at 8:46am CDT, once all students are in school. All flags are at half-staff, and age appropriate lessons will be held in our schools.

Greatful to Rotary, Interact, and all of the volunteers from various organizations who gave of their time to support the Backpack Program in Channahon and Minooka Schools! These wonderful volunteers (and others) prepared and packed over 2000 bags backed in just over 1 hour!
Mrs. Michalak is kicking off her retirement year right by memorializing the first days of 26-27 with her teammates!
