Our Indians finished the regular season with two team championships and some incredible individual performances.
Channahon won the girls open race! Emma Gavin led the way with an incredible 5th-place finish and a new personal best. Aubreyanne Marchiniak finished 7th, Nayeli Morales took 10th, and Lucia Mata finished 11th. Anna Jerome added another great race.
In the boys open, Liam Wesolowski took 2nd overall with a new personal best of 12:24! Abel Tyrakowski, Ryan Karstensen, Brody Harrison, Ethan Manno, and Riley Nicks also ran new personal bests to finish the season strong.
The Varsity Girls had a great day finishing 4th, led by Kathrynn Cebulski's 3rd-place finish. Sienna Jurgens and Daisy Morales clocked new personal bests, while Harper Bechtold turned in a season-best performance to pace the girls team.
The Varsity Boys dominated the competition and brought home the team championship. Levi Bruesewitz won the race, taking 1st place overall with a blazing time of 11:20! Nolan Bullis finished 4th, Aaron Hodapp took 10th, and Richard Colant finished 23rd with a new personal best. Cameron Lipke and Will Gavin helped secure the victory. This group has placed first in every race so far this season!
For most of our runners, this race marked the finish line of their 2026 cross country season. You put in hundreds of miles, battled through tough workouts, and represented Channahon incredibly well all season long. Congratulations to all of our runners on an incredible regular season, and good luck to those moving on to sectionals!
