Dear Channahon 17 Families,
Allow me to begin by wishing you a very happy 'Spring Break'! For this edition of the Superintendent Minute, I am excited to share an exciting new communication tool that will signifcantly enhance the way we share information with you. In early May, we will be launching a brand-new website and mobile app designed to provide you with an improved way to access the information you need, as well as a place to see the great things happening in Channahon Schools.
The new website will make it much easier to quickly navigate to each school page and find key information like lunch menus, sports schedules, TeacherEase, and calendars. It also comes with an embedded 'live feed' that will allow our schools and our School Board to highlight the success of our students and staff in real time. Similarly, the new app will provide emergency notifications, news regarding student events, and community celebrations.
We are excited about this new tool and the opportunity to further engage our community, and we hope that you will take full advantage of all the resources the new website and app will offer. As we approach the launch in early May, we will provide additional information on how to download the mobile app and navigate the new website.
