It is every child’s right to learn to his/her full potential and the staff of Galloway School is dedicated to fulfilling this right. We believe that children learn in a situation where love and understanding are coupled with mutual respect – students for adults, adults for students. Freedom must be present within the confines of a structure that allows protection for the rights of all individuals. Children need to know what they can and cannot do and that they will be treated fairly, equally, and consistently. Complete freedom only promotes chaos and does not present a true picture of our world. Our ultimate objective in education is effective citizenship.

  A.M. 8:15 – 11:15

WELCOME TO CHANNAHON ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS!

I want to take this opportunity to welcome you back to what I am sure will be a wonderful year. The entire staff is looking forward to working with you, as partners, in your child’s education. The summer has brought many changes. The custodial staff successfully swapped Galloway and Pioneer Path School and the teachers are busily working to make a safe and welcoming environment for students and parents. We are excited about the change and feel confident we will provide exceptional instructional services to all of our students.

As always, good communication is an important aspect of education. Students and parents should feel free to contact the teacher with questions, and/or concerns. Mrs. Salinas will be the on site administrator for Pioneer Path School. I will be housed primarily at Galloway with weekly visits to Pioneer Path built in to my schedule. Please feel free to contact the administrator on site if the need arises.

We are looking forward to another wonderful year and encourage you to be involved in your child’s education as we all work together to “Build World Class Thinkers”.

• Please donate hardcover books only so that they may be enjoyed by the children for many years to come.
