B. Galloway Elementary School houses second
through fourth grade classes. Our building
begins at 8:20 and dismisses at 3:10 p.m. All
bus students will enter through the center
doors and will be supervised by members of the
staff until the bell rings at 8:17 a.m.
Students will proceed to their homerooms.
Students riding the bus will arrive between
8:10 a.m. and 8:20 a.m.
At the end of
the day, bus riders (second grade through
fourth grade) will be dismissed at 3:10 p.m.
out the front doors. Car riders, walkers and
bikers will be dismissed through the North
doors. See the N.B.
Galloway Supplemental Handbook for Parent
Pick-up Procedures.
A member of
the secretarial staff is on duty from 7:50
a.m. to answer calls from parents reporting
student absences. Student absences should be
reported by 10:00 a.m., so that homework
requests can be handled by teachers before the
end of the school day. In addition to the
procedures in the District Handbook, it is
requested that Galloway parents send a note to
their child’s teacher when returning to
school. This will help to improve
communication and assist the teacher in
understanding current student needs.
Handbooks for
each building are available from the district
office. However, feel welcome to call Lorraine
Halbesma, (467-4311) to answer any other
questions you may have. |
